Let Me Put My Background, Knowledge, and Experience to Work on Your Case
I’ve secured millions of dollars in compensation for victims of the negligence of others. I’ve represented injured workers in multiple jurisdictions and obtained the benefits they were rightfully entitled, and wrongfully denied. I’ve defended hundreds of people accused of crimes and authored several published texts containing analysis and commentary on criminal procedure and our constitutional rights granted by the 4th, 5th, and 6th Amendments. Over the last 30 years I’ve presented thousands of cases in court. Let me put my background and experience to work on your case.

Meet Eric T. Kirk
In 1993, I graduated with honors from Albany Law School in New York, the oldest independent law school in America. Since then, I’ve handled thousands of cases in Maryland, New York, and Florida. During those years, I’ve tried hundreds of cases in various courtrooms throughout Maryland. I am currently with Kandel & Associates, P.A. I’ve devoted a substantial portion of my 25-year career to battling insurance companies to achieve just and fair compensation for my clients. Although every case that I handle for a client teaches me something new, I’ve learned a great deal about the strategies employed by the insurance industry to minimize, prolong, and underpay on claims. I conduct in-person, complimentary case evaluations for potential clients. Let me put my background and experience to work on your case.

Reduced Fee Program
I offer my Maryland personal injury clients a reduced fee program that features an attorney fee that is lower than that typically charged in the community. I’ve explained the details of the program elsewhere on the site.
“I have always believed that every accident and injury victim should have access to the services of a dedicated advocate at a fair rate.”
My reduced fee program gives my clients the ability to keep a greater percentage of their overall award in their pocket.

Every lawyer, every good one anyway, gives personal attention to their clients. But not every lawyer personally answers the phone when you call. I’m not going to pick up the phone if you call me at 3:00 am., but if you leave me a message, I’ll call you back at 7:00 am. If I’m in a trial, I can’t answer your call, but if you leave me a message, I’ll call you as soon as I get out of court. Other than that, if you call me, you will talk to me, not someone else, or someone that relays a message. Over the years, that is one thing that I’ve heard from former clients that they appreciate the most. If they need to talk to me, they can, when they need to.
How Much is My Case Worth?
The “value” of your claim – i.e., the amount of money you’re entitled to recover, is based on many factors: if you are entitled to recover, from whom you’re entitled to recover, the amount of coverage, your medical expenses (past and future), your lost wages (past and future), the costs of litigating the case, your pain, suffering, anguish, and loss of enjoyment in life, and the venue of the case- to name just a few.
The job of correctly analyzing the variables that go into a fair, reasonable, and accurate value opinion is a vital role of a personal injury attorney. If you have been injured in an accident, call me. I provide a complimentary legal opinion and analysis to all my potential clients. During this strategy meeting, we’ll discuss your claim’s progression and the various factors that play into the determination of fair compensation for you.
